Although there are other cabin rentals close by, Shady’s Barn and Saddle Ridge are perched on a tract of almost 20 acres of mountain glory. Nestled amongst the trees at the top of a ridge in a wooded section of a forest like setting, Shady’s Barn offers a mountain escape that couples have come to love and adore throughout the years. When you stay at Shady’s Barn, you truly feel like you have escaped the daily woes of life. Countless numbers of guests have told us how restored they feel after staying at this rustic mountain cabin in the Smokies. Shady’s Barn is not fancy, luxurious, posh or any of the above. It is however, a budget friendly, clean and comfortable Wears Valley Cabin Rental. The best thing about Shady’s Barn is that it provides an affordable option for couples on a budget looking for a little piece of paradise in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Shady’s Barn = Not Fancy – Just Right

Shady’s Barn is located in Wears Valley and is approximately 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Townsend. Gatlinburg is a bit further at approximately 40 minutes – depending upon traffic.

When you turn off the main road onto the gravel road that takes you to the cabin, the feeling of true escape surrounds you. The forest like setting is peaceful and calming. Once you are at the bottom of the mountain on the flat part of the road, we recommend activating 4WD or AWD mode on your vehicle. The road ahead leading up to the cabins requires 4WD or AWD. As you wind up the mountainside, at the top, you will see a cabin named Saddle Ridge to your right and at this fork in the road, you will turn left and continue down to Shady’s Barn on the left. When you arrive and park in the circle driveway at Shady’s Barn, we believe that you and your loved one will feel energized and happy to be in the Smoky Mountains.

Shady's Barn is a rustic little cabin nestled the woods. This one level cabin boasts a screened in patio with a 52-jet hot tub and a patio table. We are certain that this area will be the highlight of your stay in the Smokies.
Another great aspect about staying at this affordable honeymoon cabin rentals in Wears Valley is the outdoor fire pit. Snuggle up to your loved one and enjoy the quiet moments together.

Wood For Firepit: Guests will need to purchase firewood when using the outdoor fire pit. Please Do Not bring wood from home. You may purchase bundles at Knockout Firewood conveniently located next door to our office. Knockout Firewood Address is 3264 Wears Valley Rd, Sevierville, TN.

As you enter into the cabin, the Queen Bed welcome you to get a good night’s rest. There is a TV in this room to enjoy watching movies or listening to music via streaming.

Inside the cabin, you will find modern appliances, a gas burning fireplace (during season) and laundry facilities.

WIFI Details: There is free Wi-Fi available to our guests. The TV in the living room is set up for streaming your favorite TV shows. Have a Netflix account? Log-in and enjoy your favorite movies while relaxing in the comforts of this cozy cabin. Make sure to bring your Log In and Passwords for your favorite streaming accounts.

Located in Wears Valley just down the mountain from The Preserve Resort, Shady's Barn offers rustic charm and a chance to escape from it all at an affordable price.

There is no cost to use the pool or fishing pond. This is included in your rental.

We do not accept emotional support animals in non-pet friendly cabins since these animals are not protected by any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations regarding short term lodging in Tennessee. Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $100.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
