1. Patriot Park

When you’re driving down the Pigeon Forge Parkway, you’ll see shops, restaurants, and attractions in virtually every direction. Therefore, you’ll be surprised to know that there is a lovely park right in the middle of all the action! Patriot Park is an oasis in Pigeon Forge that offers a half-mile walking trail that you can explore with your dog. Along the path, you’ll find the flags of all 50 states and several memorials to the veterans of Pigeon Forge. There is plenty of free parking available adjacent to the park, so be sure to stop for a stroll during your vacation!

2. Wear Farm City Park

Another one of the great places to walk your dog near our pet-friendly cabin rentals in Pigeon Forge is at the Wear Farm City Park! This 118-acre multi-purpose park features a pleasant walking trail about 1.3 miles in total length, providing a nice little workout for you and your pooch! The trail starts at Pavilion Two, goes past the football and baseball fields, runs along Walden’s Creek, and eventually finishes up back at the pavilion. If you have kids along for the fun, they’ll have a blast playing at the Discovery Playground adjacent to Pavilion Two!

3. Riverwalk Greenway

The Riverwalk Greenway is a gorgeous path that follows the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River and includes more than 4 miles of trails, offering one of the best dog walking options in the area! The Riverwalk Greenway travels for one mile around the old City Park loop behind the Pigeon Forge Community Center and then continues along the river for one mile through the Island in Pigeon Forge. It then travels behind the LeConte Convention Center and along Butler Street for 1.5 miles where it connects to the half-mile trail at Patriot Park mentioned above!
